Partnership with Astana

Sep 22 2020

Stuttgart September 22, this year, marked the successful start of the cooperation between the financial centers of Astana and Stuttgart. Both financial centers signed the MoU partnership agreement. The aim of this partnership is to promote each other at regional and international level, to benefit from the exchange of best practices and knowledge and to invest in the innovative strength of the financial centers. The focus of the cooperation will be on topics like FinTech, Sustainable Finance and Education.

Astana is already connected to many global financial centers, including Frankfurt, London, Paris, Seoul, Bangkok, Beijing, Istanbul, New Delhi and Dubai. As the financial center for Central Asia, Astana plays an important role in positioning itself as a global center for business and finance.

With the support of public authorities and growing „green skills“, Astana’s international financial center is well positioned to play a key role in the country’s economic recovery and sustainable development. Another important area of the AIFC is the creation of a productive environment for the development of innovative financial technologies. New FinTech products will be tested in a simplified regulatory mode. The development of capital markets and private banking are also priorities for the AIFC. The work of the AIFC will result in better living conditions for its participants, better infrastructure and security for the country.
