Building Society Lounge - Finance Week 2021

As part of the Finance Week 2021, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Baden-Württembergischer Bausparkassen (ARGE) is once again hosting its Building Society Lounge this year.

„Only one direction – But many ways! – Potentials of the energy transition in the building sector for Sustainable Finance“.

There is still too little investment in our building stock to achieve climate protection targets. This is due to the regulatory framework for owners and investors, which has recently changed with higher subsidy rates and the introduction of CO2 pricing, but is still not designed to achieve climate protection goals in the building sector. The presentation will show how many investments are needed to achieve a climate-neutral building stock in the long term and which framework conditions are required for market players to see the energy transition as an opportunity and to initiate more efficiency measures in the sense of sustainable finance.
