The EU has decided to establish an Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), for whose seat Germany is applying with the location Frankfurt am Main.
In order to give the members of Frankfurt Main Finance and other interested parties in the financial centre an up-to-date insight into the topic of anti-money laundering and the work of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), Frankfurt Main Finance and the Association of Foreign Banks in Germany invite you to the next Food for Thought online event. As the central office for financial transaction investigations, the (FIU) analyses suspicious activity reports according to the Money Laundering Act.
Patricia Kordesch, Head of International Cooperation at the FIU Financial Intelligence Unit Germany, will address the topic of:
„The FIU’s role in the national and international fight against money laundering.“
